Description:
Keene v. Edie was a 1993 civil case (King County Superior Court, 1993) in which the jury found that Ronald Edie had molested his former neighbor between 1973 and 1977, awarding Keene $313,000 in damages. Keene had forgotten about the abuse for years, even denying having even been abused during a 1987 deposition in a related case, but began to recover memories of abuse during a therapy session adressing marital problems in 1990. Two of Edie’s daughters and another woman testified that Edie had also molested them when they were children, corroborating Keene's claims (Seven).
